A Night at The Museum with Clarens Dinosaurs

When the lights go down, the dinosaurs wake up…

Step into the Clarens Dinosaur Museum after dark for an unforgettable adventure! Join us for a 30 minute guided after-hours experience through fossils, plants, and prehistoric creatures. Discover real fossils, hidden dinosaurs, and glowing surprises in an intimate night-time museum tour designed for curious kids and adults alike.

Come and explore a torch‑lit dinosaur trail, uncover glow‑in‑the‑dark fossils, and be amazed by augmented reality surprises that bring prehistoric creatures to life. It’s a magical evening of discovery where the world of dinosaurs and fossils shines in a whole new light.

Age Restrictions: Suitable for ages 3 years and over

Ticket Note: Guests enter in small groups and are guided through a dimly lit, atmospheric space with coloured lighting, plants, dinosaur models, and real fossil displays. The experience includes short storytelling moments, torch-lit viewing, a hands-on fossil or glow-in-the-dark interaction, and a final photo moment at the end.

This is a calm, immersive experience suitable for families, children, and adults – not a haunted house or scare event.

Kids Ceramic Cup Painting Workshop with Vonk Pottery & Cassandra Korb

As part of the Clarens Arts Festival, Vonk Pottery invites kids aged 10–15 to slow down, get curious, and make something truly their own. At Vonk, we believe everyone is creative — and this hands-on ceramic cup painting experience is all about the joy of beginning. No rules, no pressure, just choosing a cup, picking up a brush, and letting imagination lead the way.

Some kids paint carefully, some boldly, some surprise themselves — and every cup tells a different story. The finished piece becomes more than just a cup; it’s an everyday object filled with play, self-expression, and a moment of creative confidence.

A relaxed, welcoming space where making matters more than getting it right.
